I’m much of a not so subtle weather geek. I love a number of sites for their visualizations but one of my faves is Nullschool {and no not my location!}.
I mention this amid the stupidity of defunding NOAA. Nullschool depends on their data. Lots of people like the farmers who grow your increasingly expensive food depend on NOAA. Gotta wonder just how much has to go on before the Magaotts admit the Clown and President Musk are stupid.
Either allergy season is in full swing with high Mulberry, Oak, Walnut, and Ash pollen or I’ve just caught the common cold during allergy season. Bad luck all around and I’m miserable.
Here is a good, short piece on how to understand the stupidity of rewriting some older code (COBOL).

While in Costa Rica I had the opportunity to go ziplining. Always wanted to try this. Spouse consulted and picked a popular spot for us. Little did I know it was at altitude, had lots of vertical hiking, and little to no water. Needless to say, I about killed my self. I did the whole course. Afterward I looked up the website and found they don’t take anybody over 65. Spouse and I left that milestone behind a while ago.
